Leukaemia survivor Matthew Ashmore who has undergone two heart operations and battled back from pneumonia is now set to run the London Marathon to help others beat the disease.
36-year-old Matthew, who works as a sales assistant at the Morrisons store, on the Centrum 100 development, hopes to complete the gruelling 26-mile route with the Mr Men and Little Miss team to raise funds for the charity Children with Leukaemia.
