Ebay Fees.......you only need a degree in maths to work them out....

Having just listed an item on Ebay I decided to check what the fees involved in the advertisement would be.....and how I wish i had not bothered.

So here is a small maths test for you.

The item was listed at £300 on a "Buy it now" sale.

The cost of the advert to be put on Ebay was 0.40 pence.

OK so far ?

Now, use this table to tell me how much it will cost me in final value fees if the selling price was £299.......

£300.00 - £599.99

5.25% of the initial £29.99 (£1.57) + 3% of the initial £30.00 - £99.99 (£2.10) + 2.5% of the initial £100.00 - £199.99 (£2.50) +2% of the initial £200.00 - £299.99 (£2.00) + 1.5% of the remaining balance of the final selling price

Anyone got an answer yet ?

If you do....please can you tell me what it is :-)
